Closet Jungle

These two bags of garbage symbolize things I have held onto for years. These are articles of clothing that "I just couldn't possibly get rid of", but when was the last time I wore any of them you ask? I could not begin to tell you. There are years of wasted cloth and leather with the shoes and clothing combined in these two lonely bags.

The good thing about this is the freedom of getting rid of clutter stuff. Stuff that has taken control of my closet and turned it into a jungle of old beat-up shoes and tangled wired hangers. There is a freedom in breaking through your own "jungle" and letting go of the material things that have you by the throat. Breath easier. Get rid of the "Stuff".

We have all loved the memories that we made while camping. These memories are made with family and friends. Some of them involved sunsets and others involved skipping rocks on the glassy river waters. The majority of us have sat on a dock in the golden evening sun with our feet dangling over the calm water below; fighting the temptation to slide into the water and enjoy ourselves. Every camper knows the importance of the fire, the warming and nurturing qualities it attains. The campfire in itself holds years and years of memories with every lick of the flame. We all have our own memories that we hold near and dear to our hearts. Here are a few of my favorites...

Walk in the Park...

A simple walk in the park can reveal so much, if only you are looking for it.

The Unofficial Mystery

It is mind boggling to me that people will
become so excited for a day of drinking alcohol. Today is a day that a huge percentage of u of i and other colleges ban together for one cause. Although it is funny for the sober people to walk around and see fellow students acting like crazy people, it does sadden my heart to see that this is how people have fun. There is so much more to life than drinking and acting crazy. God is so much bigger than that. God's love is just so much more intoxicating. This day is wonderful however. Sarah, Dalton, Teresa, and I took the strat puppy Harley (Harles Barkley) for a walk down green street where he got lots of attention.

Lots of People were stopping to say hi to the dog. One big 6ft guy stopped and asked excitedly if he could pet our dog and then he proceeded to talk to harley in a baby voice. He was non the less in love with our dog. ha so funny.

Any way Enjoy the pictures! :)
